Central Electric Cooperative, Inc. is a member-owned electric distribution utility established in 1937 with a rich history in the local community. Central Electric’s team consists of seventy-one dedicated employees that are committed to providing our 25,000 members with exceptional service. Our field personnel maintain over 3000 miles of line in the rolling hills of Western Pennsylvania. The Cooperative office resides near the City of Parker which is located along the beautiful Allegheny River within a 2-hr drive to Pittsburgh, Erie and Cleveland. The Cooperative serves a variety of residential, commercial, and industrial accounts across its seven-county service territory. Central is a member of the Pennsylvania Rural Electric Association, National Rural Electric Cooperative Association, and Touchstone Energy providing access to vast network of electric distribution cooperatives and resources. Parker offers the benefits of a small-town environment with many outdoor activities such as biking, hiking, canoeing, kayaking, hunting, fishing and camping.
